Step in to the Mercado for This Entertaining Noontime Lecture

ASU at the Downtown Phoenix campus continues the Noontime Lecture Series with “Flamenco at Noon.” All are invited to experience Flamenco through this interactive lecture-demonstration presented by Un Corazón Flamenco. You will learn about the history of Flamenco as well as enjoy an amazing demonstration of Flamenco dance and guitar techniques and rhythms.

Un Corazón Flamenco is Linda Machado and Ricardo de Cristobal, professional Flamenco artists and instructors. Machado is a selected Roster Artist with the Arizona Commission on the Arts and de Cristobal is the Valley’s Leading Flamenco historian. They are the founders of Flamenco … the Studio. Both artists bring years of experience and dedication to the art of Flamenco.

The lecture takes place on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from noon until 1 p.m. at the Mercado. To attend, please RSVP at ASUlectures@asu.edu with your name, phone number, and title of the lecture.
