
Escalante Health CenterThe ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation operates a nurse-managed primary care facility at the Escalante Community Center in Tempe. The Escalante Health Partnerships collaboratively develop, facilitate, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive community-based program to promote health and well-being. Through its affiliation with Escalante Health Partnerships, the clinic serves low-income children, their families and elderly adults. Nurses at Escalante work with various social service agencies, students, and faculty from the nutrition, exercise science and social work departments at ASU to develop group workshops and health interventions related to consumer education, strength training and nutrition.Program added: Monday, July 19, 2004 ![]()
